Bio Sketch
Gabe was born in Syracuse and grew up in Huntington, NY. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology at Stanford University in 2003, and has taught as an instructor at Stanford (2001-3), an assistant professor at Koç University in Istanbul (2003-5), and a lecturer at Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv (2005-7). He is married to Neva Dogan Ignatow, and they have two children, Alex and Sara.
