Architect Intern, May 1989 - November 1989
Designed residences, commercial buildings and extensions to two elementary schools. Drafted plans, made blueprint copies, compiled applications for building permits, conducted research, sketched, and made site visits.

Architect, August 1995 - December 1995
Researched, sketched and assisted in the design of numerous small and large scaled pavilions for the heritage village in Nizwa to showcase the arts and crafts of the indigenous Omani population.

Architectural Consultant, February 1999 - June 2000
Designed multi-storied apartment buildings for nursing staff, annex to a hospital building, three elementary schools, two residences, and a rooftop garden restaurant. Interacted effectively with clients, supervised on-site construction, and was responsible for the direct supervision of the design staff.


Architectural Engineer, June 1996 - May 1997
Involved in the planning and design stages of the assembly and paint shop buildings for the first indigenous car project by TELCO, extension to the school building, design of a daycare center and a new staff canteen.

Junior Architect, December 1989 - August 1991
Assisted in the design of the Junior Staff Quarters at Fahud for the Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO). Developed large-scale measure drawings of various interiors for execution on site.

Junior Architect, September 1991 - August 1994
Interacted effectively with local Omani clients to deliver viable design solutions for their residences, sketched and used AutoCAD for drawing floor plans, prepared sanitation and electrical plans required for building permit applications for residential and commercial projects.
