Parthasarathy Guturu
Dr. Guturu received the Bachelor’s and Ph.D. (Eng.) degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He has had experience of more than seven years in corporate R&D and over ten years in teaching and academic research. He was with the Indian Institute of Technology, where he directed four Ph.D. dissertations and a large number of graduate and undergraduate theses. He is currently a Faculty Member with the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, University of North Texas, Denton. He has published over 40 papers in international journals and conferences and contributed to disparate areas of electrical and computer engineering, which include networking, pattern recognition, computer vision, and computational intelligence. He is the holder of three U.S. patents, which are the results of his contributions to corporate R&D with Nortel Corporation in the areas of Intelligent and 3G Wireless Networks. He plans to integrate his academic"research experience in computational intelligence and the corporate R&D experience in wireless networks and embark upon an ambitious research program in the area of cyber-physical systems and networks.
